Go {heart} yourself is a new feature of one of my favourite blogs The Wiggins Tribe. The idea is each week to share one thing you love (heart) about yourself.
When I first read about it, I thought this would be an easy challenge. I was so wrong. I thought I loved, or at least liked myself, but to my surprise it was hard to come up with a single thing. I have personality traits that I like, because they serve me well and I have others that I don’t like, because they make my life more difficult. But to love any of them?
It would have been only too easy to give up and enter another week. Or pretend that I hadn’t seen Keshia’s post at all. But the task highlighted that I really need more love in my life, so I stuck with it… You really got me thinking there, Keshia.
This week I am {hearting} my imagination. It turns every day into adventure. It paints vivid pictures that no artist can duplicate. It shows what is possible and keeps my faith alive that anything is possible. It transforms clouds into signs of fate. And on a more practical note, it is a never-ending source of bed-time stories for my children.
