Things I know

  •  Home is so much better than a hotel room.

I used to think otherwise when I was younger. But now, after spending a couple of days with my brother (who lives at the resort where he works), I know I prefer my comfort, my books and my home cooked meals. Even if I have to cook them myself.

After spending a few hours trying to discover it I am still as stuck as I was in the beginning.

  •  There is nothing more peaceful than a sleeping child.

And if you can take a photo for later, when that same child wakes up a to demand chips. In the middle of the night and very loudly.

Beautiful photograph – I love the way it is cropped. Sleeping children make such great subjects – they look angelic. :D

I’m totally opposite on the whole home/hotel thing. Before kids, when I used to work, once a upon a time . . . .anyway, I spent a lot of lonely time in hotel rooms as I travelled about for my work. I was totally over it and quite glad to give it up. Now, however, I would give almost anything to wake up in a hotel room, on my own time, no kids jumping on me. Even just for a weekend. Bliss!

Awww, sleeping toddlers are the cutest. It’s the awake ones that make you want to take a nap yourself. :P

I think I know my life’s purpose but I’ll check out that link anyway… just in case I missed something ;)

I love home too. It’s fun being away but it’s so nice coming home to the things that make you YOU :)

I love going home after a holiday. Home has books and a kettle with the brand of tea I prefer, and there is nothing like sleeping in your own bed.

    Gorgeous photo!
