I’m grateful I’ve got the perfect recipe for Saturday sleep-ins. Tire the kids out on Friday afternoon and then take them out for dinner (bonus – someone else does the cooking). Sometimes a mum just needs to sleep in.

I think it’s cruel to call people and tell them they have abnormal pap smear results when you could say ‘possible low grade abnormality’. But I’m grateful that it is a possible low grade abnormality and not any of the horror pictures my imagination helpfully provided for me in the 18 hours between the call and the visit to the doctor.

I usually prefer silence to music. Music distracts me and makes me want to dance. I’m that mum at a Kindergarten concert that does all the movements with the kids. It looks weird, I know, but I just can’t help it. I wouldn’t call myself a music lover, but… without music there’d be no dance. So I’m grateful for music.
What are you grateful for this week?

Oh I will have to try that recipe for a sleep-in, would love to remember what they feel like. Dance classes look like fun.

Ah the sleep in. I actually slept in this morning! Woke up to find kids quietly watching TV. I am okay with that if it means a sleep in

Look at you in your dance class! So cool!
I can’t help but groove to music as well. It’s genetic, I think. I was watching a show with my Ma a couple of weeks ago and her foot was tapping along to some pretty hard core rap music.
I’m glad your pap smear (that word ‘smear’ is an awful one, huh?) is okay! x

I really love dancing and that’s why I am as well in love with music…I don’t have a chance in enrolling in a dance school because of some matters…

I’m greatful the footy season has begun – Dad takes the boys for their sat/sun afternoon sporting ritual and I get some well deserved alone time.
Yup, I say thank you for the music… I’m having an ABBA attack, obviously
. Sometimes, it’s the only thing that gets me through the day.
