Grateful for colours

For a while my kids had been asking me to buy them face paint. This week I finally figured out where I could buy it from (Spotlight) and got them both paint and crayons.

What happened next needs no words….

Face painting

This is the conversation I had later with my husband.

‘So you let them go outside looking like this!?’

‘What do you mean, they were outside to begin with!’

Given that it rained for the next three days and we had to occupy ourselves with something at home, too,  I’m grateful for the endless fun that the colours provided for the whole family.

Facepainting is fab fun. The best bit is, if you do it at home from time to time there is less pestering at fetes and fairs for a $10 face paint! Gotta love that!!

I was going to mention how we painted your twins, too, but all the pictures I had were from before you got started on the crayons.

What a nice bonding moment for kids. Face painting can show all the fun and creativity that your kids will enjoy. Good work for capturing those moments in photographs.

This is so great. I love to see kids having free reign when it comes to face paints. Let’s face it – they have very different ideas than we do about what looks good. I’m sure they’ll remember this day :) Thanks for sharing the pics!
