The Goddess Circle: a look from the inside

Ever since I’ve found that the price will be doubling for Leonie Dawson’s Goddess Circle membership, I’ve wanted to write a post and let you know about it. For a while the post stayed at the top of my blogging to-do list… and didn’t get written. I was feeling resistance. I needed to explore why.

Was it because I was gong to try and sell you a product through my affiliate links and get some commission for it?

No. Selling is important. How else will you know that there is a a product out there that speaks to you?

Is it then that I don’t believe the product is good enough for me to recommend it?

That’s not it either. I believe wholeheartedly that the Goddess Circle provides immense value well beyond its dollar representation.

Then why am I feeling resistance?

Because I’m not ready to write this post. I’ve been a member for less than a month. I’ve spent some time (not much) dabbling in the courses and I got some results… but they are all inner results and because they are so recent, I have no proof that they are permanent. I’d be a lot more comfortable to write about the Goddess Circle once I can show you permanent and tangible changes.

Can I wait? What will happen if I don’t write this post now?

You might miss out on the early bird price. And you might miss out on months of access to the Goddess tools, which can be life-changing.

So what then?

I will tell you what I know. Now.

The Business Goddess Course

I’ve been hearing this piece of advice everywhere that to make money from your blog (or anything else), you need to develop a business mindset and treat it as a business. But what does it all mean? Ok, so I’m thinking that my blog is a business and then what?

As I was going through Leonie’s Magic Money Making Kit, it clicked for the first time. Goals are not just some visualising tool, they are a prism through which to look at all the actions that you can possibly take and do the ones that will get you there with the least amount of effort. Business mindset means prioritising your actions in a way that serves your business.

That one insight was priceless for me and of course, my blog is the perfect tool to experiment with what I’ve learned. While I haven’t made much progress with my money goals yet, there’s definitely been some movement. I’m spending less time working on my blog, yet, my traffic is growing and the most important things are getting done.

The Creative Goddess Course

After I skimmed through The Business Goddess, this was the course that I was pulled towards. After I’ve done three weeks of it:

  • I feel my mind alive and buzzing with ideas (you know when you’ve gone too far with your idea generation when your 5-year-old starts drawing tables, graphs and mind maps instead of cars, people, trees and houses).
  • I got some valuable insights from the guided meditations. ( I think I discovered the meaning of the hedgehog gift!)
  • I got back into toy making.
  • In one of the meditations I saw my fears dissolve, they weren’t real and that was so completely clear. I haven’t put my fears to the test in real life yet (or if I have, I haven’ t even noticed).

The Radiant Goddess Course

Sometimes I’d come across a healthy (and especially raw food) recipe and it would feel like it’s in a foreign language. I’d have no idea what the ingredients are or where to get them. The Radiant Goddess recipe book was a pleasant surprise in that respect. The ingredients Leonie uses are ones that you probably have at home or you can get them from the nearest shop. I tried making Leonie’s raw chocolate pudding and it was a hit with my kids. It was the first time ever my son ate avocado (yes, avocado in a chocolate pudding!). Even when he was a baby and I’d try to add avocado to different mixes, he’d always detect it and spit it out. This time I told him what was in the pudding and he still ate it, then asked for more.

That’s what I’ve had time to do in the Goddess Circle so far. No doubt, you’ll hear a lot about it in future.

It was too cheap

I had been eyeing the Goddess Circle for a while before I joined. It resonated with me, but  the price was stopping me . I thought, ‘Surely you can’t get all these good quality resources for just $100 a year! It’s too cheap, it mustn’t be that good!’ What changed my mind was Leonie’s free ebook Biz + Blog Star Workshop: it was engaging, informative and inspiring, a great sample of what you can find in the Goddess Circle.

The price problem is being rectified soon. The Goddess Circle membership price is doubling in just over a week. Please check it out now and join if it resonates with you!

Disclosure: As mentioned above, the links in this post are affiliate links. All opinions are my own. I’ve been as open and honest as I can be about my own experience in the Circle and I haven’t mentioned anything that I haven’t experienced myself.

Thanks for your article! I agree with many of the points but I don’t think $ 99.00 is too cheap if you consider that it’s an ongoing membership fee. If you’ve been member for 5 years that’s nearly $ 500.00 and if you’ve been member for 10 years that’s nearly $ 1,000.00! It’s tricky to compare ongoing membership to a once-off course.

It’s a membership for a year, though, and that is plenty of time to do all the courses, get the support you need and download and save everything for later in case you don’t get it all done or you want to do it again in future. Then you can cancel and you’ve still gotten all the resources. If you choose to stay then it’s obviously because it serves you and you are getting your money worth.

At this stage I love the courses, but I haven’t participated in the forums much and if by the end of the year I find that I’m still not participating, then it means the forums are not for me and I’ll have no qualms about cancelling. It’s that easy!

As you can see, it’s not exactly easy for me either. But why should it be so hard? I’ll never promote anything I don’t believe in and I love finding out about products like this one, why shouldn’t other people love it,too? Let’s hope it gets easier with practice ;)

I was shocked by the volume of material available. And thrilled that she continued to add more all year long. I think it’s a steal, even at $199.

(PS If you decide to print, do it in color. The vibrancy of her artwork adds so much. :-) )
