I thought it was just another park… until I entered a magical forest.
***
I thought I was buying just a book…
… and on the next day I received a special gift (an e-course) to go with it.
***
I thought I was going to an ordinary kindergarten reading session….
The children had to complete the sentence “I like …” and here are just some of the sentences:
“I like Catherine (one of this boy’s classmates)”.
‘I like me.”
“I like my mum and my dad and me.” (Most of the kids who wrote about their families remembered to add themselves. )
“I like ice cream.”
“I like my iPad.”
It turned into a fascinating journey into the kids’ worlds.

Another beautiful and heartfelt post, which is definitely among the things I am grateful for today. Thanks, too, for sharing ‘This I Know’ – because of your post today, I have just ordered it from amazon. I am grateful, as I always but today moreso than usual, for my beloved husband who is also my dearest friend, my continued good health, my friends, and the abundance of beauty as I look outside my front window and take in all of nature’s magic in the form of apple trees, pear trees and vivid and lush flowers of all shapes and sizes and varieties. Thanks for sharing, and have a beautiful weekend.
It would be spring, coming into summer where you are. I can just imagine all those trees and flowers… Have a fantastic weekend!
The unexpected’s, the extra bits that we didn’t bargain for – always fill us up, don’t they! I love the magical forest!

It’s always a blessing to be able to see beauty and wonder in seemingly mundane things. It’s a gift in itself to have that ability. I’ve grown a little dull in that department, I’m afraid. Thanks for the reminder

I am so grateful that I bumped into a long lost friend this week. It was awesome just catching up with her and recalling the moments we had in the past.
Tat, yes, I believe that IS a magical forest. Oh, don’t you just adore those unexpected surprises!
How much we can learn from the children!
I need to check out the book, This I Know. This is my first awareness of it. And an e-course too! What a bonus!
And entering the children’s world is always magical
We all have so much to be grateful for. Today I’m grateful to have discovered your beautiful gifts.

Debra, thanks for your warm words. The e-course was a pre-order offer and I don’t think it’s available anymore, but the book in itself should be a treasure. I can’t wait for my copy to be delivered!
Loving the magical forest, a lot. Unexpected discoveries are awesome. They are like a gift from above.
I love the way the simple things kids say can put so much into pespective

Really beautiful post, Tat. I love the magical forest and especially your second photo with the reflections. Gorgeous! And I follow Susannah Conway on Instagram and noticed she had a new book and course. I really want to get that and her earlier one too. How lucky you were gifted the course. I hope you learn a lot. I need to get myself some of that action!
