I used to go skiing a few times every season before I had kids. With kids, we attempted to go when my son was about 18 months old and on the way back he screamed the entire way (6 hours!). That put me off the snow for a while.
This week we made a comeback. Kids are a bit older now and could handle the drive well enough, and they absolutely loved everything about the trip.
Apart from the snow, there is another request from my kids that I’ve had a hard time fulfilling. They have been asking me to take them to see a rainbow for a very long time. If only if it were that easy! I struggled to find even a tiny little one, but lately we’ve been seeing rainbows everywhere! All this rain must be good for something.
What are you grateful for this week?

Oh snow and rainbows!! What more could a kid want!!!
Rainbows are definately worth being grateful for….there just so magical
I’m grateful this week for school holidays. A time to spend with my 3 kids together. Holidays are all about fun and getting out and about – enjoying the good things
If only everyday were a holiday … actually then it wouldn’t be a holiday then!!!

Well, that threw me for a loop! Totally wasn’t expecting to see snow after we just got back from an amusement park and 36 Celsius temperatures! Looks so inviting!

36 degrees would be nice. After we came back from the snow I felt so warm in Sydney. Unfortunately it only lasted for a day and now I’m freezing again.
They look so cute in their snow suits!
We’ve been searching for rainbows too – hopefully next week will be our week! xx

I actually love rainbows and it is one of the things I want to see whenever I am sad or in deep pain.. Makes me feel better and makes me think that there is something good in this life..
