With the new baby coming soon, we’ll need a bigger car. But first we had to sell our old car.
This is how my husband sells a car (advertised for $7,900).
Buyer: ‘I can offer you $7,700.’
Seller: ‘No, I’m happy with $7,500.’
Buyer: ‘Deal!’ (Followed by the quickest handshake you’d ever see.)
We may have lost $200, but it’s given us something to laugh about and I’m grateful for that. It puts a smile on my face every time I remember about it.
